March Madness

I was lazy this winter, and felt guilty for not getting the girls out to build a snowman. As Luck of the Irish would have it, March Madness was kind to me, and we got 7 inches of snow! It was perfect because it wasn't frigid outside and the girls got their snowman!

Big Guy's b-day

So I have been lazy, and my computer hasn't been nice so it's taken me a while to post something. But here's what we've been doing, the big guy had a birthday and got a xbox 360 with a ton of games that he's been wanting forever and I finally gave in. He really is a kid at heart. We also went to a Brazilian resturant to celebrate, it was great food and lots of fun!

Simple

I was going about doing what I had to do around the house when I heard laughter coming from my kitchen. It was a sweet, delightful, laughter of complete happiness. And I saw my little girl sticking her face in the vent with the heater air blowing her little curls up. It was such a simple moment, filled with joy. In spite of everything going on recession, earthquakes, and all sorts of other pain and heartaches, this moment helped me to remember what is really important and how blessed I am. I am so happy and blessed to be a mom! My sweet little girls mean everything to me, they constantly fill me with happiness without even knowing it. The adorable little, 'I love you' and 'hi mom' and 'hugs' give me the most wonderful feeling. I know that there is nothing more important that I could be doing than being their mommy, it's just that simple.

And it's a .....

SO today we went in to get an ultrasound! And of course they did they whole routine of taking pictures and measuring everything to make sure that the baby was devolping normally and that it was measuring according to my due date, which it was, the due date is offically June 11th. And it seemed like FOREVER before we got to the part we were waiting for, because the baby kept crossing it's legs, and they had another techinician come in to see if they could both determine the gender and after a lot of I thinks, and maybes we finally got a good look and we are excited to welcome our third girl, Abbey Jane Mudrow into our family in a couple of months!

For some reason our girls wouldn't look at the camera and smile, so we didn't get very good pictures. So enjoy this one because it's the one of the only ones, where this little one is somewhat happy.

The girls were tired after a long day, and it was cold outside, so this little ride made their day!

Fall

Great

This is a sarcastic great, not a real great. Yesterday, I spent the day huddled in a little ball with my girls and every blanket we could locate, yes our furnace died. It was freezing from the instant I got up at 6:30am. At 5:15 pm the repair man showed up to inform us that our furnace had exceeded the expected life by 10 years and to repair it would cost $1,000, a new one $2,000. But there is some good news here, it isn't any colder, we are able to have a new furnace installed a day later, and our penny pinching has paid off in a remarkable way, we have the EXACT amount available in our savings! So yeah, maybe this is really great, in a not sarcastic way.

Gardner Villiage

It was so crowded this year it was absolutely ridiculous. So we didn't stay very long but we did take a few pictures and had fun anyway...
