Joani

This is a picture of my girls with our sweet little neighbor Joani. She is one of the kindest people I know. We have an unspoken meeting everyday out by the fence at 2:00. She loves watching the girls play. She's just like a grandma to the girls. She gives them a treat every single day and goes and gets 'groceries' for them (a bag full of toys, cookies, candy, etc.) She's part Native American, is 78 and has cancer. You'd never guess her age by how active she is, she's constantly doing things for everyone. She's an inactive member, but I have a feeling if anything is going to bring her back to the church it's an innocent voice singing the primary songs she loves. I truly treasure our friendship, and just wanted to share this special little friend with you all.

Hair Washin'

The little one does EVERYTHING that the older one does! Which can be good and sometimes not so good. She loves washing her hair and does a pretty good job!

Eatin'

I randomly take pictures of her eating because she's at a 'fun' messy stage. Eating makes her tired, and it's really cute to see her fighting the tiredness while trying desperately hard to eat the last piece of macaroni!

Happy late 4th!

Our 4th of July was fabulous! We saw the parade at Tooele. Little sister was overjoyed to have a flag and after about 5 minutes of getting candy Big sister was finished and just wanted to watch. When I asked her why she was sitting down she said, "Mom, I'm just a little bit tired. When I want more I'll get it." We also drove on the Mt. Nebo loop from Nephi to Payson. It was really pretty and fun. I'm as always, beyond thankful to be where I am, to grown up where I did, and have my kids enjoy the freedoms we have. Happy 4th of July!
